Australian Public Service Positions

The Australian Public Service (APS) and some other public sector agencies recruit through a centralised testing system as well as through advertising in newspapers. A number of private recruitment agencies, whose addresses you can find in the yellow pages, also arrange employment in the APS. The following gives information on where to find public sector positions.

Most of the positions are private sector positions. You will need an email account. If you do not have one, you can get a free address through Hotmail.com or Yahoo.com.
